Title: How to use SMACNA’s Guyed Steel Stacks Construction Guide

Description:

Contractors, specifying engineers, fabricators, procurement specialists, and project managers alike will benefit from the training provided in this seminar. The program will provide attendees with the know-how to assess the constraints of the guyed stack model to properly select the listed stack materials of construction.
The presenter will discuss in detail the following aspects of consideration.

  • Fabrication rules/details, specify guy cables
  • Different rings (flanges) sizes and placement
  • Required rules for stack breeching reinforcement
  • Required loads for foundation design

In addition, there will be instructor-led examples going through the proper solution process.
