Description: The global phasedown of high global warming potential (GWP) hydrofluorocarbon (HFC) refrigerants is on the horizon. This seminar will provide an update on the status of US refrigerant regulations and their impacts on our industry. From federal- and state-led phasedown initiatives to evolving safety standards governing the use of A2L “lower flammability” and A3 “higher flammability” refrigerants, this session will provide an overview of the current landscape and discuss strategies for achieving present and future HFC and GWP reductions.
